JOINT
PAIN SYMPOSIUM


In Sarajevo,
27th and 28th September 2007. was held at KCUS (University
Clinical Centre)-DIP Amphiteater JOINT PAIN SYMPOSIUM
with international participation for 200 participants from whole Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Serbia and others regional countries. Participants
was anaesthesiologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, physiaters, pharmacologists,
general practicioners and medical technicians (nurses) which are involved
in Pain therapy.
Joint Pain Symposium was organised from APT BiH (Association for Pain
therapy in BIH - SARAJEVO, SPIN (Spetialists in Pain Network UK-LONDON)
and RSM (The Royal Society Medicine UK-LONDON) in cooperation with:
NIRR (Institute for Scientific Work and Developement), Canton Sarajevo-Ministry
of health, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina- Ministry of health,
Ministry of Health and Walfare-RS, Medical Faculty -SARAJEVO and sponsored
by: PLIVA, JANSSEN-CILAG and BERLIN-CHEMIE
Symposium was on English (simultane translation had been assured),
no payement registration fee.

Uplifting the expertise and continuing education of medical staff.
Because insufficient of aknowledge from pain therapy tolerate patients
and then family and society.
Due availability and Law regulations for opiates administration in
therapy is limited. It is necessary to adapt this section of law.
Improvement of coordination between all relevant institutions in BiH
as well as World for mobilising forces forward the efficiency of pain
care.
